Economics Admission Requirements
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the General University and Faculty requirements, an intending candidate for admission into B.Sc. Economics programme is expected to meet the following conditions.
- UTME REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of credit passes in at least five relevant subjects obtained in not more than two sittings from SSCE/GCE ordinary level or its equivalent are required for admission. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Government, Geography, Accounting, Commerce and History.
- DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
OND(Upper credit) in relevant discipline(s) from AAUA or other institutions recognized by the Senate of AAUA provided the student possesses a credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Government, Geography, Accounting, Commerce and History, at the SSCE, GCE Ordinary Level or its equivalent.
U.T.M.E Subjects:
English, Mathematics, Economics and one of Government, Geography, Accounting, Commerce and History.
