Political Science and Public Administration
The department of Political Science and Public Administration is committed to giving relevant and contemporary practical and theoretical explanations to Politics and Administration. Dynamic staff of the department ensure that students do not only acquire knowledge but are modelled for the global world with its diverse opportunities and challenges that require analytic thinking, sound character, and sophisticated research and analysis. Students are offered courses that use both qualitative and quantitative research methods. These courses include Comparative Administration, Gender Studies, Global Politics, Politics and Law, Entrepreneurship, Political Behaviour, Leadership and Governance System, etc. Regular Seminars, Conferences and Debates organised by the department also prepare students for the Academic and Leadership roles in accordance with the objectives of the department.
The undergraduate programmes produce excellent graduates capable of occupying prominent positions in Private and Public Institutions within and outside the country. The graduate programmes; (M.Sc, Ph.D) produce students who specialise in diverse areas in Political Science and Public Administration.
